Background & Challenge
Cosentino Group, a global leader in architectural surfaces, opened its Seattle City Center at 1521 First Ave. in SoDo on September 12, 2023 — part of a three-city U.S. expansion representing nearly $5 million in investment. The 3,000-square-foot showroom was designed as an interactive gathering space for Seattle's architecture and design community, featuring a design workshop (the "Atelier"), full-slab digital displays, and a curated selection of Silestone and Dekton product lines.
For a brand of Cosentino's stature, the Grand Opening wasn't just a ribbon-cutting. It was a brand moment — one that needed to be documented at a level consistent with their global standards and repurposed across marketing, internal communications, and social media for months to come.
The production challenge was significant:
- Multi-stakeholder coordination across local and remote teams, each with their own expectations and timelines
- Strict brand alignment with Cosentino's corporate visual identity and style guidelines
- Compressed delivery deadlines that left no room for back-and-forth or missed shots

Our Role
JSB Video served as the single media team for the Grand Opening, handling full-service event videography and photography from pre-production through final delivery.
Pre-Production
Before the event, we worked closely with Cosentino's internal teams to align on brand guidelines, shot priorities, and deliverable formats. That upfront coordination meant zero surprises on the day — every stakeholder knew what to expect, and our team arrived with a clear plan.
On-Site Coverage
On-site, we captured the full arc of the event with a consistent visual approach designed to reflect Cosentino's premium brand positioning. Coverage included:
- Formal opening ceremony documentation for corporate records and PR use
- Product and showroom showcases highlighting Silestone and Dekton displays
- Networking and candid moments for social media and internal storytelling
- Environmental and architectural photography of the new SoDo space
Post-Production
We delivered the complete media package on a compressed timeline without sacrificing quality or brand alignment. Throughout every phase, JSB Video operated as a single point of contact, reducing the coordination burden on Cosentino's team and keeping the project moving forward.
