DREAMER - Boxing for DACA

University of Nevada student Ricardo Lucio Galvan is a young and talented professional boxer who’s goal is to shed negative stereotypes associated with DACA recipients. In 2017, lead by President Trump, the United States began to question the legitimacy of Mexican immigrants. President Trump pushed hard to repeal the DACA program that gave children of illegal immigrants citizenship and in turn, their family was given the right to stay in the country. As a DACA recipient himself, Ricardo became a boxer with a cause, he was going to fight for DACA. Hear about his story and watch him take his first steps into a professional boxing ring.
